Las Vegas sure isn’t what it used to be. Just got back from my NFL futures trip and every time I go to Sin City I see more homeless and more dangerous people on the streets. They had better figure it out soon or they are going to start losing the tourists that make that town go round and round. Of course, California is in no hurry to legalize sports betting with the polls showing both propositions 26 and 27 are doomed to fail next month. I wonder why Governor Newsom isn’t clamoring for both of them to pass because of the billions of dollars in revenue that it will add to the state’s coffers? Maybe he and the Misses get special perks when traveling to Vegas?

Enough politics below are my NFL plays for the 2022-2023 season:

  • 600 Units on the Bills at 3.5 to 1 Odds
  • 400 Units on the Eagles at 6.5 to 1 Odds
  • 400 Units on 49ers at 14 to 1 Odds
  • 200 Units on the jaguars at 50 to 1 0dds

Yes, I know most of you regulars will call me on my taking the Bills at less than 5 to 1 Odds but their numbers are far and away better than any other team in the NFL. Besides they were 2.4 to 1 all over town and I only picked up the dime due to my diligent shopping. I think the Eagles are a very good play and are the team with the most depth on both sides of the ball. I wagered on the 49ers because of their defense and although I am not a big fan of Jimmy G he did take a team with a great defense to the Super Bowl once before. A bet on the Jags is a bet that they make the playoffs. If and when they get there holding a ticket at 50 to 1 gives you a lot of wiggle room.

May I have one last word please. First Tom Brady takes two plus weeks off in the middle of the preseason and then last weekend he misses the Buc’s final practice and walk through because he is at his former owner’s wedding in Boston. Then he flies to Pittsburgh and stinks up the place against the double digit underdog Steelers. While he was chastising his offensive linemen late in the game they all appeared to be thinking what I was thinking. We all agree with Gisele “It is time for the GOAT to go”.

Thanks, for logging in and good luck playing the games this season.
