We Cash On Seminoles-Still Alive With Seahawks and Niners

The Florida State Seminoles came through by beating Auburn and making our 25/1 ticket a winner and they did us a huge favor by not doing so by more than 8 ½ points. Thus our 1,100 to win 1,000 unit wager on Auburn plus the points was a winner as well. Back in early July I wagered 100 units each on five teams to win the final BCS Championship game: Oregon, Texas, USC, South Carolina and Florida State. Therefore my 500 unit wager returned a profit of 3,000 units or a 600% return on my investment. When I cashed my Florida State ticket at Binions in downtown Las Vegas the cashier told me I was lucky to win. I have been betting the futures for over 40 years and that is the first time I have been accused of being lucky. Lucky or good it doesn’t matter the college football season was fun, exciting and PROFITABLE!!Now we turn our attention to the final four of the NFL Playoffs where we still have two live tickets of 100 units each: Seattle at 5/1 and San Francisco at 8/1. We have already lost 100 units each on the Colts at 15/1 and the Chiefs at 20/1. We are at least assured of having a live ticket when we sit down to watch Super Bowl #48 on February 2nd. While in Vegas last weekend I also completed placing my basketball futures for this year which I will share with you next week. Good luck to everyone on Sunday in the AFC/NFC Championship games.
