Spartans (8/1) Badgers (20/1) and Cyclones (30/1) Hold Only “Real” Hope for March Madness Profits

Iowa State, Michigan State and Wisconsin carry our March Madness hopes into the Sweet 16. Down 300 units already thanks to Syracuse, Ohio State, Kansas and Duke. Did Duke REALLY lose to Mercer? I still have the three live tickets but quite honestly I think all three are in for a tough go this round. The loss of Nang definitely hurts the Cyclone’s chances of getting past UConn and a “home town” crowd in Madison Square Garden on Friday night. In the nightcap at the Garden the Spartans will be facing one of the best defenses in the tourney in the University of Virginia. If Michigan State keeps playing the way they have since the Big Ten Tournament started they probably have the best chance of the three to advance to the Elite 8 round. My third wager the Badgers of Wisconsin will be hard pressed to keep up with the speed of the Baylor Bears on Thursday night in Anaheim. Of course given the way the tourney has unfolded so far anything can happen. OK maybe ALMOST anything. Warren Buffett is NEVER going to pay out a billion dollars for THAT perfect bracket!
