Our Rockies Are Out!! Red Sox, Braves and Cards are In!!!! Rangers Maybe

It is the Monday after the end of the MLB regular season or is it? The Rangers play the Rays in Texas tonight for the last Wild Card spot. The very same Rangers I wagered 100 units on to win the AL Pennant on May 2nd at the El Cortez in downtown Las Vegas. All in all I am happy with the results of my MLB future selections this year with only the 30 to 1 Rockies being a loser already. Below are the wagers I made that day:

To Win NL Pennant

• 50 units on Rockies at 30/1 Loser
• 50 units on Cardinals at 8/1
• 200 units on Braves at 5/1

To Win AL Pennant

• 200 units on Red Sox at 8.5/1
• 100 units on Rangers at 8/1

To Win World Series

• 100 units on Red Sox at 17/1

If the Rangers are victorious tonight it will make 4 teams out of 5 still in the hunt for the money with the biggest possible payoff riding on the Red Sox. The Boston boys are tied with the Cardinals for the best run differential at 1.30 with the Tigers (1.28) and Braves (1.26) not far behind.
