We Cash On Blackhawks At 11 To 1
0The Chicago Blackhawks did what the San Antonio Spurs couldn’t……win game six!! We suffered one of the worst last second beat downs I can remember in game six of the NBA playoffs when the Spurs squandered a five point lead with less than a minute to play. The Spurs last second giveaway cost me 700 units and I can honestly say stung for a couple of days. Then six days later we find ourselves on the other end of a last minute victory when the Blackhawks score two goals in seventeen seconds to sieze the Stanley Cup at odds of 11 to 1. I lost 200 units on the NBA and won 180 units on the NHL futures for a net loss of 20 units. Year to date I have won 600 units on the NFL, 350 units on NCAA baskets and 180 units on the NHL for net gains of 1,130 units. The 200 unit NBA loss puts my net YTD gain at 930 units on the futures. The profit comes on an investment of 1,210 units or a 77% ROI. So we now turn our full attention to MLB and 700 unit investment made on May 1st:
To Win the NL Pennant
- Braves 200 units to win 800 (4/1)
- Cardinals 50 units to win 400 (8/1)
- Rockies 50 units 1,500 (30/1)
To Win the AL Pennant
- Rangers 100 units to win 800 (8/1)
- Red Sox 200 units to win 1,700 (8 1/2/1)
To Win the World Series
- Red Sox 100 units to win 1,700 (17/1)
My only regret at this point is that I split my secondary wager in the NL between the Rockies and Cards instead of putting it all on St Louis but there is still a lot of baseball to play and when the dog days of summer set in anything can happen. If you are playing along good luck and have fun. By the way I haven’t forgotten the 100 unit loss on Louisville in the College World Series and will count it in November when I close out my baseball futures.
