Futures Update

The Gators who I bet at 35/1 (To Win BCS) on Wednesday in Las Vegas did what I needed them to do. They upset LSU and now they are ranked 4th in the country. They get South Carolina at home on the 20th of this month and Georgia the following week again at home. Their final test will come against Florida State on the road in the final regular season game of the season. If they can get through undefeated they will most likely face Alabama in the SEC Championship game. It is a long shot but at 35/1 it should be fun to watch. In baseball our 30/1 Orioles lost their opener to the Yankees while our 7/1 shot Nationals took a step forward beating the Cardinals 3 to 2. In the NFL our Falcons (8/1) and Ravens (9/1) both won so all in all looking into the future it was a fairly successful weekend with only the Texas Longhorns (25/1) being a “ticket tear up”.
