49ers Worth A Shot at 5 to 1

Took an early Wednesday morning flight from Columbus, Ohio back to Las Vegas landing about 7:30 AM or just in time to get over to the Super Book at the old Hilton and put down two hundred units on the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl. Yesterday, I did my five game NFL chart and came away convinced that QB Alex Smith with his 108.7 rating is ready to take the 4-1 Niners to New Orleans and Super Bowl 47. They have outrushed their opponents 981 yards to 407 yards which means they have gained 2.41 yards on the ground for every yard they have given up. This huge advantage on the ground will only make Smith more comfortable in the pocket which should pay huge dividends for San Francisco fans and especially those like me who have money on them. The pleasant surprise was that I was able to get them at 5 to 1 odds when a week earlier the best number I could find was 4 to 1 which once again proves it pays to shop when playing the futures. I am happy to be home and looking forward to a weekend of football and MLB Playoffs.
